About
The Southeast Asia Urban Environmental Management Applications (SEA-UEMA) Project is a partnership of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. The project is being implemented by the Urban Environmental Management (UEM) Field of Study at AIT. It aims to contribute to the improvement of urban environmental conditions in the Southeast Asian region covering Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
The project focuses on enhancing collaboration among communities, local governments and other organizations in adopting gender-responsive UEM practices in the region and works towards strengthening institutions and networks in Southeast Asia in advocating gender-responsive UEM policies and effective practices.
